It’s here! The Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified debuted as a pilot-only super clone watches for sale a few months ago, but Omega decided to make a slightly different version available for people like you (assuming you aren’t a US military pilot) and me.
Originally for US military pilots
At the end of September, we showed you the US military version of the Omega Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified, based on leaked internal documentation and some pictures posted by US military pilots on the Omega Forums.
And now, just before 2024 ends, Omega introduces the UK best replica Omega Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified watches that will be available in stores.
2024 is a Speedmaster year
Omega has been serving Speedmaster fans well this year, first with the updated Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 and then the white-dial Moonwatch and the bicolor models in steel and yellow/rose gold. After those came the new First Omega in Space with its blue/gray dial, and now there’s the “civilian” Speedmaster Pilot.
Hands-on with the Speedmaster Pilot
While keeping it a secret from everyone but my colleagues, I’ve been wearing this new Speedmaster Pilot ref. 332.10.41.51.01.002 for several weeks until today. This means I have had quite some time to get to know this Speedmaster variation. Am I still as enthusiastic as when I unboxed it, or did my enthusiasm fade? Stick around to find out.
Last week, we received the new Seamaster 300M a day before its release, so our introduction article is a “hot take” or first impression. A proper hands-on article will follow later as we have the high quality super clone watches in the Fratello office now and can wear it for a while. This new Speedmaster has been here for weeks, which has allowed us to try it, wear it, shoot some (video) content with it, and, more importantly, dedicate an in-depth article to it.
Too thick, too thin, too big, too small
I will leave the specifications for the table below the article so you can find all the details you want about the watch. I have to say that I am a bit “done” with the specifications regarding dimensions. Admittedly, I sometimes fall into the trap of basing my opinion on the numbers I see. This year, though, I have been wearing many different watches. Most of them fit me fine, from small dress Swiss AAA fake watches to large divers, regardless of the diameter or thickness.
I either like a watch, or I don’t. Only seldom did a watch put me off with its dimensions. In my 25 years of collecting Speedmasters, I’ve never heard anyone complain about the thickness of one. The watch never struck me as too thick, neither in the late 1990s, when I was slim and super clone watches for men were generally smaller, nor today — end of rant.
Similar yet quite different to the Speedmaster ’57
What I will say is that the watch looks and feels very similar to the two-register Speedmaster ’57 collection Omega introduced a few years ago. That collection now features a hand-wound movement, but the first models had a self-winding movement. This Speedmaster Pilot uses the automatic caliber 9900. It makes the Swiss movements copy watches slightly thicker than the hand-wound Speedmaster ’57, but that doesn’t bother me when wearing it.
Inspired by the iconic Omega Flightmaster
But it’s not the Speedmaster ’57 from today’s collection that this Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified model reminds me of the most. The colorful hands remind me of the Flightmaster, 2024 wholesale super clone Omega’s pilot’s watches that debuted in 1969. It’s not a copy or re-edition, but there’s certainly inspiration taken from those Flightmaster models.
Omega tried to bring the Flightmaster back in 2013 with the Speedmaster Z-33, but it did not last long in the collection. It was probably too specific with its Flightmaster-inspired case and the ana-digi display like the X-33 models.
Lots of orange
As you can see, this is a very colorful Speedmaster with its orange minute counter, orange tachymeter scale on the aluminum bezel insert, orange six-minute indicator (which should remind you of a plane’s burn-rate indicator), orange dots at the hour markers, and the orange airplane-shaped tip of the chronograph seconds hand. Additionally, there’s the “Flight Qualified” writing in yellow, a yellow running seconds hand, and a yellow circle in the left sub-dial.
Blue horizon
The sub-seconds register has a cockpit-inspired target/sight design element with a blue horizon. And it’s here where this replica watches site UK differs from the previously shown Speedmaster Pilot for the US military aviators. In that version, the sub-dial showed a gray horizon.
Two hands at 3 o’clock
In the sub-dial 3 o’clock, we find two hands for the chronograph function, which is the case for all dual-register Speedmaster models in the collection. Besides the minute hand, there’s also a gray hour hand. Whereas this hand is in a separate sub-dial in the Moonwatch models, it’s part of the 3 o’clock sub-dial in these in-house-developed self-winding movements by Omega. You can also use this sub-dial to display another time zone (as long as you start it precisely at midnight or noon for that time zone, of course).
Lume
At 6 o’clock is the date aperture, which shows a black date disc and printed white numerals. The hour and minute hands have a thick coating of Super-LumiNova, and the hour markers consist of large Super-LumiNova blocks that glow green. I found the Speedmaster Pilot very readable in low-light conditions due to these blocks and the large Super-LumiNova-coated hands.
The matte black dial has a grained finish, and the silver (rhodium-plated) minute track has a brushed finish. The latter corresponds with the finish of the case and pushers.
Every surface of the case and bracelet has a brushed finish, including the pushers and crown. This gives the Speedmaster Pilot a utilitarian look. It’s one of the features we liked so much on the Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday “Tribute to Alaska III,” so it’s no surprise I like it on this Pilot model too.
Unlike most cheap Omega super clone watches these days, this Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified has an all-steel case back. The version for US military pilots had their squadron patch as a medallion on there, but this one is blank except for the famous hippocampus medallion in the center and the water resistance rating on the edge. Something many will like is that this model is water resistant to 100 meters.
A stainless steel bracelet with an easy-adjustment mechanism
We received Omega’s Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified on the stainless steel flat-link bracelet, but it will also come with a gray NATO strap with brushed hardware. The bracelet has an easy-adjustment system in the clasp, which can be set in two positions for a 2.30mm total extension.
The bracelet is comfortable and similar to the one on the Speedmaster ’57 models. I am pretty sure this top super clone watches is a strap monster too, so those who like to change straps regularly won’t be disappointed.
Caliber 9900
Inside this best quality fake watches is Omega’s caliber 9900. This is an in-house-developed chronograph movement with the minute and hour recorder located in one sub-dial and an independently adjustable central hour hand. This is very useful if you are a frequent flyer to and from different time zones. The date has no quick-set function, but using the independent hour hand will save you some time when correcting the date. Although you can’t see it due to the all-steel case back, the decoration of this movement is very nice. Alas, you will have to believe the pictures for this. As always, the mainplate and rotor have the Geneva waves in Arabesque. You will also miss out on the black balance wheel and the action of the column-wheel mechanism. But the case back does leave some room for a personal engraving if you fancy that kind of thing (I do).
Of course, the watch has been certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS. This means the encased movement performs within 0/+5 seconds per day on average and is antimagnetic up to 15,000 gauss. Additionally, the watch is tested for water resistance. In total, the China super clone watches store has undergone eight stringent tests. One thing you should know is that the allowed deviations are not the same for every Omega movement. We received a comment recently under the article on the Seamaster 300M, for which the accuracy is up to 0/+6 seconds per day on average instead of 0/+5 seconds per day. In short, all the 99xx/89xx/3861 calibers perform within 0/+5 seconds a day, the 88xx calibers are within 0/+6 seconds per day, and lastly, the 87xx calibers run within 0/+7 seconds a day. This is not communicated specifically on the Omega website, but here you go.
The Speedmaster Pilot on the wrist
On the wrist, the Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified is nothing but awesome to me. As a Speedmaster enthusiast, I am extra critical of new releases and variations. Unlike some of you might think, I do not like every Speedmaster or everything that Omega does. Some changes or Speedmaster variations “hurt” me as an enthusiast or purist. Not all Speedmasters editions are for me, and I see that sometimes a commercial decision is not always the one that satisfies the Speedmaster purist in me. That said, I believe the Speedmaster Pilot is a great addition to the collection. It brings some color to the dial and harks back to the Flightmaster while remaining a tool watch with brushed surfaces on the case and bracelet.
One of my favorites of 2024
Aside from the Flightmaster with its colorful dials, it also reminds me of wearing my Speedmaster H10 edition. In general, though, this replica watches paypal is slightly larger and more like the Speedmaster ’57, but it has a utilitarian look and feel to it. Of all the Speedmaster models that Omega introduced this year, this one is in my top two. For me, it’s between the white-dial Speedmaster Professional and this Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified.
I will go through all 2024 releases in detail another time, but the Pilot truly and positively surprised me. That’s mainly because it’s something different and more distinct but also because of its utilitarian aesthetic. There are the nods to the Flightmaster that I greatly appreciate, but this is a modern watch with the self-winding caliber 9900 inside. I don’t swim that often, so I never cared much about water resistance more than the 50m rating on a Moonwatch. Nevertheless, I think it’s commercially clever to have this one rated to 100 meters.
The price for the Swiss perfect super clone Omega Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified ref. 332.10.41.51.01.002 watches is the same as for the Speedmaster ’57 models, at €10,500 (including VAT) / CHF 8,300 (excluding VAT) / US$9,500 (excluding local taxes).
